About me
My name is Cassy, I'm 18 and living in Sydney, Australia
I was 10 when I tried to draw my first portrait. I really don't want to talk about it. (It was shit) I was 12 when I started to take photos with my little Ipod touch. When I was 14, I upgraded to an Iphone 4, then a Sun 600- despite the fact that it costs an arm and a leg for an 8 pack of film. It was a wee bit of time ago I finally got a DSLR (warm regards to mum) in 2016 when I had to do art because I was dropped from physics class before it began. Now, something I was never supposed to do became the only thing I was sort of, kind of good at. My HSC film titled "Le Mort" was shown at the exhibition "NEXT" at Casula Powerhouse in 2017.
At present, I dabble with photography, drawing and film. Soon will be music production hopefully. I am also studying Social Sciences but anticipate transferring to Science or Media & Communications. I am in process of writing a short film however, I am not sure where I will submit it or when it will be published if made.
My work is inspired by the natural/made, soft glare of the afternoon sun and human nature
